Youngsville Community Church Pumpkin Patch | October 14–31 Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes are available for purchase at the Youngsville Community Church Pumpkin Patch. Stop by Monday through Friday from 3–8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.–8 p.m., and Sunday from 1–8 p.m. for family photo opportunities and a fun fall outing.
Trunk or Treat at St. Julien Park | October 19 Bring the family for a night of candy, costumes, and fun at St. Julien Park’s Trunk or Treat from 5–8 p.m. This free event features a live DJ, dancing, face painting, a photo booth, games, and a costume contest. Don’t miss out on the Halloween festivities!
Trunk or Treat at Hub City Ford | October 26 From 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m., join Hub City Ford for a free Trunk or Treat event featuring a balloon artist, firetruck, animals from Rylan’s Ranch, and more! A costume contest will be held at 1 p.m., so get creative with your spooky attire.
Trunk or Treat at Little Blessings Daycare | October 26 Little Blessings Daycare will host their Annual Trunk or Treat Family Fun Day on October 26 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. Enjoy food, face painters, a balloon artist, and lots of car trunks for kids to trick or treat from!
Lafayette Police Department Trunk or Treat | October 30 On October 30, from 5:30–7:30 p.m., the Lafayette Police Department will host a Trunk or Treat event at Girard Park. There will be plenty of candy, treats, and police vehicles to explore, making it a fun and safe event for the whole family.

Scott Fright Trail | September 27–November 2 Ready for a spooky adventure? Head to the Scott Fright Trail for haunted nights and creepy fun. General admission is $30, but Saturdays feature “Frights without Lights Nights” for an extra spooky experience at $40. Skip the line with $75 VIP tickets and enjoy a thrilling night!
Acadiana Pumpkin Patch | September 21–October 26 Located in Ville Platte, the Acadiana Pumpkin Patch is open on weekends from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Admission is $8 for kids and $12 for adults. Get ready to pick out your perfect pumpkin and enjoy all the fall vibes!
Epiphany Opelousas Pumpkin Patch | October 15–November 2 Visit the Epiphany Opelousas Church Pumpkin Patch for pumpkins, photo opportunities, games, and weekend face painting. The patch is open Monday through Friday from 2–6:30 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and Sunday from noon–6:30 p.m.
Opelousas Trick or Treat Trail | October 26 Head to South City Park for Opelousas’ Trick or Treat Trail from 4–6 p.m. Enjoy treats, train rides, photo ops, and monster mash music as local businesses set up stations for trick-or-treating fun!

Halloween Art & Nature Festival | October 26 With a “Creepy Crawlers” theme, this year’s Halloween Art & Nature Festival in St. Martin Parish is all about bugs! Enjoy pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treating, and iron-forging demos while meeting insect scientists. The event is free, but registration is required.
